Software Testing Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing - Bangalore.

We are looking for test engineers with a passion for technology and a knack for details to help us test Apps for web, iOS and Android

Years of Exp:-1+ to 6 Years

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and skills.
Hands on Experience in testing Web based, Mobile and Tablet/iPad applications
Good knowledge of Software Development life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life cycle (STLC)
Extensive knowledge in Functional, Smoke, Integration, System Testing.
Good Knowledge of Writing, Execution and Reviewing of Test case
Good Knowledge of white box testing and Black box testing-Smoke, Functional, Integration, System, Performance, Browser Compatibility, Usability, Accessibility, Adhoc Testing
Experience with gathering requirements, reviewing requirement specifications, developing test plans and defining testing strategies

Roles and Responsibilities

Developing detailed test plan documentation based on project requirements
Executing the test plan as per project timelines
Design and implement the framework for automated and manual tests for both in Android and iOS platforms
Logging and describing issues discovered during testing using bug tracking tool
Interacting with developers to report and resolve issues discovered during testing

JOB Description : Software Testing

Team member to design, develop, document, implement, and execute manual/automated tests for Snapdeal products.
This will include closely working with the product owner/development teams as part of an agile development process in testing user stories and defects. 
Focus will also be on writing/debugging test cases in Java and Selenium for testing the software products. Debugging and failure analysis skills are a must for the position. The position also requires running both manual and automated tests on designated hardware against the QA builds and reviewing their result. In addition, the candidate should exhibit self-sufficiency, high levels of motivation, and the ability to efficiently and quickly grasp new and complex topics. 
Candidate must have experience in test planning, test case documentation and test effort estimations.
Hands-on software testing and quality assurance activities including functional, regression, smoke, system testingand load testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Jmeter
Hands-on experience in testing commercial web-based applications
Knowledge of industry best practices in software development and Quality Assurance policies and practices.
Proven ability with Java
Familiarity with Programming & API Testing 
Ability to work on Mysql and NoSQL Databases
Working knowledge of software IDEs and debugging tools 
Candidate must have strong experience with both Linux and Windows operating system platforms.
